Paul Damian Rees

Paul D. Rees, entrepreneur and tax attorney, serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of the LSAR Group. Mr. Rees’s expertise in the areas of equity and debt financing, financial projections and planning, contract negotiation and drafting, project development and management and corporate governance allows LSAR Group to effectively turn concepts into concrete plans, to secure and close equity and debt financing acceptable to its clients and investors/lenders, and to provide appropriate and necessary oversight to projects to ensure efficient and timely execution of a development plan. Mr. Rees directly oversees the LSAR Group accounting staff providing comprehensive accounting, tax and budgeting services to LSAR Group clients, including financial reporting to management, owners and lenders. Mr. Rees received a Bachelor of Science accounting degree from the University of Louisiana in 1985, a law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1988, and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Boston University in 1989, each time finishing with honors and near the top of his class. Mr. Rees was awarded a clerkship with the United States Tax Court in 1989 and began his professional career as an attorney and businessman in 1990 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The draw of entrepreneurship and business development immediately drew the attention of Mr. Rees and he has leveraged his legal background and expertise into many successful projects over his 20 plus years of professional practice.

Glenn M. Haggerty

Glenn Haggerty serves as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the LSAR Group. Having worked in the family entertainment industry since 2002, Glenn brings a broad range of experience in administration, sales, marketing and operations management. Glenn’s hands on role in the company have resulted in the development of successful projects from demographic research, financial analysis, conceptual planning and construction management through marketing plans and daily operations. Along with his role with LSAR Group, Glenn directly oversees the management staff at Gulf Islands Waterpark. Glenn began his professional career with 13 years of general and regional management in the print and copying industry in Dallas, New Orleans and Tampa, along with several small business start-ups.

Mark Moore

Mark Moore is the Chief Operating Officer of the LSAR Group and the General Manager of Gulf Islands Waterpark. Mark is heavily involved with the World Waterpark Association, a current member of the Board of Directors, current Chair of the Technology Committee and former chair of the Waterpark Resort Committee.

Mark started as a lifeguard in 1987 and has worked in the waterpark industry since 1996. Having worked in both the indoor and outdoor waterpark business he has gained a unique perspective of the industry. In the past he has also served as the General Manager/Vice President of Splash Universe Resorts and the General Manager of Splash Lagoon Waterpark Resort. With his broad range of experience from building and opening new parks to reenergizing existing parks, he often presents at the WWA Annual Symposium and has published several articles in industry publications.

Laura E. Horne

Laura Horne is the controller for the LSAR Group and provides financial oversight for LSAR group clients, making financial recommendations to senior management. Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as well as cash flow planning and management ensure a going concern to LSAR clients. Financial systems implementation and oversight of internal controls provide success in day to day operations. Financial statement preparation and analysis, combined with oversight of federal and local tax compliance, allow LSAR clients to feel confident about doing business in the community. Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Finance, both from University of New Orleans. She holds Certified Public Accounting and Certified Global Management Accounting credentials and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana CPA’s. Before joining The LSAR Group, she worked as a senior tax accountant at the regional CPA firm, Carr, Riggs & Ingram in their tax compliance division. Laura adds 14 years of financial experience to the LSAR Group.
